Creating Signs In InDesign

Watch this video to see how to create signs in InDesign.

Option for Creating Signs

  • Option + up/down arrow
  • Great for signs in close each other. Usually one sign at a time.

  • Option + drag
  • Great for starting a new grouping of signs. You can select more than one sign and copy.

  • Copy and Paste command + C then command + V
  • You will need to move the signs into the result set before synchronizing

  • Step and Repete Option + Command + U
  • Follow onscreen prompts.

    This video still applies for the creation of signs in InDesign.

    However, you now don't have to worry about moving the signs back into the result set. In fact, you can completely hide the structure window because you no longer have use for it.
